Heal, an on-demand primary care service delivered in the home, raised $26.9 million in Series A funding, led by Tull Investment Group. Heal’s mission is to improve the way patients connect with primary care and promotes itself as an alternative to overcrowded emergency departments and primary care practices.
Patients call Heal when they need a PCP and can expect one to arrive at their home within the hour. Heal plans to use the investment to grow their business and invest in back-end technology. Currently, the company accepts several insurance plans, and charges a $99 service fee for not-in-network calls.
