DICOM Grid, a leading cloud-based medical image management suite, has secured an additional $6M, led by Canaan Partners, for a total of $39M in investments. They plan to use the capital to drive additional sales beyond their current 750 providers and to push product development.
In an effort to reflect the broad reach of their services, the company is changing its name to Ambra Health. With the CMS-driven move towards collaborative care, more providers need access to patients’ images and data, and Ambra is poised to provide services to support care beyond the walls of the hospital.
