The software provides nurse-navigation models dedicated to specialties such as oncology and spine treatment. Nurses are able to screen patients before making appointments to ensure the proper care is scheduled.

The investment is part of a wave of funding for technology-based platforms to improve care quality and efficiency and reduce costs and readmissions, as these markers become targets for reimbursement penalties. These technology platforms provide the backbone for the coordination of patient care, as well as the data to allow providers to assess patient needs.
